Since 2007, Marc Shen has served for IBM, Wanda Commercial Management Group, Foriseholdings Group, Softbank OYO GC. In 2017, he became the consultant of GLG Group in the industries and fields of “new retail, internet +, sharing economy” . Marc is an expert in strategic planning, investment incubation, new retail operations (S2B2C), post-investment management and operational empowerment.
Denis Liu joined Carpere Capital Management in 2019. As VP, Denis’ responsibilities span the entire commercial due diligence, financial modeling as well as fund-raising process. Denis is also the Partner of a leading British blockchain consultancy company Rothbadi & Co. Prior to Carpere Capital Management, Denis was an Associate with Lightheart Management Partners which is a leading search fund in Vancouver and Toronto. He advised on numerous PE buy & build transactions. Denis also worked with HSBC Commercial Banking, China CITIC Bank and Australia Simonds Group.
Denis graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA in 2013 with a BSc in Economics and Mathematics. He also holds MBA degree from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in 2018. In 2020, Denis was nominated as Top 100 Exceptional Finance Professional from a New York publisher “The Top 100 Magazine”.

Before joining Carpere, David has been actively involved in all aspects of the business development, operations and sales & marketing in the world of Retail and Grocery within North America. He is a motivated and results driven MBA professional. With established track record in managing major North America Retail accounts for the last 12 years or so.
He has successfully developed over millions of dollar revenue business opportunities with notable corporations such as Jarden, Walmart (US/Can), Costco (US/Can), Home Depot (US/Can), Albertson (CA), Walgreens, GNC and more.
